The Mission
The mission of Eastside Church of Christ in Midwest City, Oklahoma is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. We accomplish this by sharing the love of Christ, serving our community, and opening doors that allow us to share Christ's message of forgiveness. We give of ourselves and our finances to support missionaries who spread the gospel of Jesus around the world. And we are committed to raising, training, and empowering our members to live Godly lives and further fulfill this mission.
The Vision
The Eastside Church of Christ in Midwest City, Oklahoma is a family who believes the Bible, trusts God, is filled with the Spirit, shares Jesus, and lovingly serves others!
We are a Bible believing and people serving family of Christians, who struggle with balancing the cares of this life with God’s plan for the Kingdom. We are working to increase our faith, grow our awareness of and reliance on God’s Holy Spirit, become a force for sharing the Gospel in our local neighborhoods, and continue in our love and service to the community. We bring glory to God, and our love for God and for each other is a powerful and undeniable testimony to the world. We will be known in the Kingdom for our commitment to sharing the Gospel of Christ and our love for praising God, as we are known in the community for our service to those in need.
